Learning (in all its forms) can make a major contribution to the wellbeing of older people and NIACE and BIS are both keen to promote the expansion and diversifying of learning opportunities (despite the constrained public spending climate). On 26th March they will be holding a joint national conference to discuss the future of older people's learning, with keynotes from BIS, the UK Commission on Employment and Skills, the Local Government Association and Age UK.
